Customize the Registration Form for Any Session

With the Mission Suite, you can tailor each section of the Registration form as much (or as little) as you like. This will benefit the quality of the data you collect for a Session or Retreat. Read below for detailed options in customizing a registration form.

Customize the Session Description

1. Select the Encounter session you for which you would like to modify the registration form.

2a. From the Session overview page, click the Customize Registration icon at the bottom right of the screen.


2b. Click the right arrow next to Session Description Customization to view the available options.
2c. Important: move the toggle button to the on position (right). This will enable the Customize tool. Click the Customize icon.


3a. An edit window will open. Type the custom description you would like to include for the session.
3b. Once you have made all content and formatting updates, click Save. The registration form is automatically updated, so anytime a participant clicks on the registration link from now on, the newly customized Registration form will be displayed.


Customize the Personal Information to request on the Registration form

1a. Navigate to the desired session. From the Session overview page, click the Customize Registration icon at the bottom right of the screen.
1b. Click the right arrow next to Personal information to view all customization options. Items can be toggled on (right), off (left), and selected as required to answer.
1c.  First Name and Last Name are always displayed and required, but you can select which of the remaining fields to display and which to make required.
1d. When you are finished, click Update to save the customized registration form. The Registration form is automatically updated, so anytime a participant now clicks the registration link, the newly customized Registration form will be displayed.


Customize Faith Information on the Registration form

The Faith section includes questions about religious affiliation, church membership (if any), and self-defined spirituality. These questions are valuable in more deeply understanding an individual's core beliefs at the time of session registration.

1a. Navigate to the desired session. From the Session overview page, click the Customize Registration icon at the bottom right of the screen.
1b. Click the right arrow next to Faith to view all customization options.
1c. The four items can be toggled on (right), off (left), and selected as required to answer if desired.
1d. When you are finished, click Update to save the customized registration form. The Registration form is automatically updated, so anytime a participant now clicks on the registration link, the newly customized Registration form will be displayed.


2a -2b. If you select Display > Customize the Church/Parish affiliation item, a new window will open. This will allow you to customize further how you would like this specific question to appear.
2c. Click Select to save your selection.


Customize Preferences on the Registration form

The Preferences section includes optional participant information that is important for you to know as a session organizer. Optional questions include dietary restrictions, childcare, seating preference, and contact method type.

1a. Navigate to the desired session. From the Session overview page, click the Customize Registration icon at the bottom right of the screen.
1b. Click the right arrow next to Preferences to view all customization options. 
1c. The four items can be toggled on (right), off (left), and set as required to answer, if desired.
1d. When you are finished, click Update to save the customized registration form. The Registration form is automatically updated, so anytime a participant now clicks on the registration link, the newly customized Registration form will be displayed.


Customize the Other section on the Registration form

1a. Navigate to the desired session. From the Session overview page, click the Customize Registration icon at the bottom right of the screen.
1b. Click the right arrow next to Other to view all customization options. 
1c. The three items can be toggled on (right), off (left), and set as required to answer, if desired.
1d. When you are finished, click Update to save the customized registration form. The Registration form is automatically updated, so anytime a participant now clicks on the registration link, the newly customized Registration form will be displayed.
